Ithaca Mental Health

Mental health is an issue that effects approximately 40 million Americans every year. In the state of New York, approximately one out of five people live with a mental health disorder.

The Mental Health Association of Tompkins County performed a play titled One Out of Seven. The performance featured actors who have overcome a mental health disorder. The actors portrayed the struggles that they faced throughout their previous experiences. In Ithaca, New York, one out of seven people live with a mental health disorder and the purpose of the performance was to spread awareness about the importance of mental health.

Ithaca Mental Health did a survey on 100 people on the importance of mental health in society.
